Es beginnt mit der Motivesuche: Ich schaffe mir Raum und Zeit, gehe raus, um zu sehen und aufzunehmen. Ich nehme etwas mit. Im Alltag, in Pausen, im Schlaf verstehe ich, was sich davon bei mir selbst wiederfindet. Die Arbeit an der Leinwand ist ein spannungsreicher Prozess: Jede gute Beziehung stellt sich Herausforderungen. Der Arbeitsraum ist kein Raum der einfachen Wahl. Aufmerksamkeit, Zeit und wiederholte Begegnung formt die künstlerische Praxis als ein Gefüge von Beziehungen, das ich pflege und das mir Halt gibt.

It begins with the search for a motif: I make time and space for myself, go out to observe and take in my surroundings. I bring something back with me. In everyday life, during breaks, and even in my sleep, I come to understand what aspects of that experience resonate within me. Working on the canvas is a process full of tension: every good relationship faces challenges. The studio is not a space of easy choices. Attention, time, and repeated encounters shape my artistic practice into a network of relationships that I nurture and that gives me stability.
